Stars dance on to final trio
DANCING with the Stars has unveiled its final three following the elimination of Libby Trickett and her partner Carmelo Pizzino watched 1.8 million in city and country Australia on Tuesday.
Magician Cosentino, actress Rhiannon Fish and singer Tina Arena remain to compete for the title on Tuesday.
The trio survived the introduction of three new dance styles with renditions of Charleston, hip-hop and disco all brought to life on the studio dancefloor for the first time this week.
Arena and dance partner Damian Whitewood retained top spot with a Charleston and a showstopping Paso Doble, the latter which earned four 10s from the judges Todd McKenney, Helen Ritchie, Kym Johnson and Adam Garcia.
Cosentino and dance partner Jess Raffa earned two standing ovations – the first for a disco number performed to KC & The Sunshine Band’s Get Down Tonight and the second – an Argentine tango that got another perfect score from the judges.
Rhiannon Fish and dance partner AricYegudkin performed a hip-hop number that took them out of their comfort zones and an Argentine tango.
The next instalment of Dancing with the Stars returns all performers for the season 13 grand final where Guy Sebastian performs live and a winner will be announced.
Dancing with the Stars: Tuesday, 7.30pm, Seven, Prime7.
