Dave Goode is a man in big demand. The DJ is a member of the multi ARIA Awardnominated outfit The Potbelleez, best known for hits like Don’t Hold Back and From The Music.

“We’re quite blessed in the fact that we’re full-time musicians,” he says.

“The weekends are spent touring and the weekdays are spent in the studio.”

Birthdays and celebrations are missed because of that hectic schedule, but Goode says it is a “small price to pay”.

On New Year’s Eve 2014, The Potbelleez were front and centre at Sydney’s Lunar Park playing to massive crowds and hanging out with the Stafford Brothers.

Their latest single All the Way was made with Melbourne artist Marcus Santoro and sits on the ARIA Club Tracks Chart.

It’s not Goode’s only recent project.

“We’ve just finished a remix for INXS,” Goode says.

The track from the Potbelleez DJs – comprising Goode and Johnny Sonic – is the iconic Need You Tonight and while Goode is yet to hear about an official release date, fans can hear it on The Potbelleez’s Soundcloud. The artists had already remixed the track when they were approached by INXS manager Chris Murphy to contribute to an album of remixes.
