Gold Coast Little Theatre: Director Roger McKenzie presents Noel Coward’s Private Lives. Set in 1930, this comedy of manners is centred around a divorced couple who, while honeymooning with their new spouses, discover that they are staying in adjacent rooms at the same hotel. Spotlight Theatre: Directed by Morgan Garrity, this fabulous musical is a story of selfdiscovery. Based on the movie of the same name, the upbeat play follows the transformation of Elle Woods, who’s life is turned upside-down when her boyfriend breaks up with her to attend Harvard Law. Determined to get him back, Elle uses her charm to get into the same school and tackles stereotypes, snobbery, and scandal in pursuit of her dreams.
