Aus­tralian di­rec­tor Phillip Noyce and An­gelina Jolie re­u­nite af­ter their work on The Bone Col­lec­tor for this spy-thriller about CIA op­er­a­tive Eve­lyn Salt who is ac­cused of be­ing a Rus­sian Spy. Jolie gives it her all but it is not enough to save Salt from its pre­dictable and lu­di­crous plot.

MID­DAY, GEM PG. 1965. Corny ad­ven­ture flick star­ring Vin­cent Price, Tab Hunter. A so­ci­ety of peren­ni­ally youth­ful smug­glers is dis­cov­ered un­der the sea near the Cor­nish coast, dat­ing back to 1803. En­joy­able es­capist flick.
