THE LOST BOYS

9.30PM, 7FLIX M. 1987. Two brothers suspect that their new hometown is being frequented by vampires. This remains a superpopular cult horror flick thanks largely to a cast that was totally “hip” in the ‘80s, including Jason Patric, Corey Haim and Keifer Sutherland.

BIG MOMMA’S HOUSE 2

8.30PM, ELEVEN PG. 2006. An FBI agent finds himself crossing the gender line again in the name of national security in this sequel. Unfunny and unoriginal. In other words, a perfect piece of evidence for opponents of pointless movie sequels. Don’t waste your time.

FAREWELL

12.30AM, SBS M. 2009. This French film tells the true story of a KGB colonel who leaked state secrets to the West via a French businessman. The story makes for a compelling watch, as does the star-studded cast that includes Emir Kusturica and Willem Dafoe.

Corey Haim.
