The next in­stal­ment in the block­buster fran­chise fol­lows vam­pire death dealer Se­lene (Kate Beck­in­sale) as she fends off bru­tal attacks from both the Ly­can clan and the Vam­pire fac­tion that be­trayed her. With her only al­lies David (Theo James) and his fa­ther Thomas (Charles Dance) she must stop the eter­nal war be­tween Ly­cans and vam­pires, even if it means she has to make the ul­ti­mate sac­ri­fice.

Known for their crazy, colour­ful and magical hair, Trolls are the hap­pi­est, most joy­ous crea­tures ever to burst into song. From the creators of Shrek, Trolls stars Anna Ken­drick as Poppy, the op­ti­mistic leader of the Trolls and her po­lar op­po­site, Branch, played by Justin Tim­ber­lake. To­gether, this un­likely pair must em­bark on an ad­ven­ture that takes them far beyond the only world they’ve ever known.

Queen of Katwe is the vi­brant true story of a young girl from the streets of ru­ral Uganda whose world rapidly changes when she is in­tro­duced to the game of chess, and, as a re­sult of the sup­port she re­ceives from her fam­ily and com­mu­nity, is in­stilled with the con­fi­dence and de­ter­mi­na­tion she needs to pur­sue her dream of be­com­ing an in­ter­na­tional cham­pion.

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds doc­u­men­tary. Orig­i­nally a per­for­mance-based con­cept, One More Time With Feel­ing evolved into some­thing much more sig­nif­i­cant as Do­minik delved into the tragic back­drop of the writ­ing and record­ing of the al­bum. In­ter­wo­ven through­out the Bad Seeds’ filmed per­for­mance of the new al­bum are in­ter­views and footage shot by Do­minik, ac­com­pa­nied by Cave’s nar­ra­tion and im­pro­vised ru­mi­na­tion.

UP FOR LOVE (M) The Arts Cen­tre

New re­la­tion­ships are al­ways awk­ward and for Diane and Alexan­dre the chal­lenges in their re­la­tion­ship could be some­what of a tall or­der. De­spite his charisma and good looks, Alexan­dre comes up a bit short (al­most two feet, ac­tu­ally). They’re both look­ing for love but so­ci­ety is watch­ing and judg­ing. Is Diane out of his reach or can they meet in the mid­dle? Will they be up for love?

Fate, the pen­sions cri­sis and a stead­fast re­fusal to ac­cept the in­jus­tice of old age have con­trived to force law-abid­ing, retired cou­ple Arthur and Martha Goode into a life of crime. Re­fus­ing to take the loss of their pen­sions ly­ing down and to fade away into their de­clin­ing years, our char­ac­ters decide to fight back. They set out to take back what was theirs in the first place. They decide to start rob­bing banks.
