But when Dutch and his team, which in­cludes weapons ex­pert Blain and CIA agent Ge­orge Dil­lon, land in Cen­tral Amer­ica, some­thing is gravely wrong. Af­ter find­ing a string of dead bod­ies, the crew dis­cov­ers they are be­ing hunted by a bru­tal crea­ture with su­per­hu­man strength and the abil­ity to dis­ap­pear into its sur­round­ings.

THE BIG SICK (M)

The Arts Cen­tre Based on the real-life courtship be­tween Kumail Nan­jiani and Emily V. Gor­don, The Big Sick tells the story of Pak­istan-born as­pir­ing comedian Kumail (Nan­jiani), who con­nects with grad stu­dent Emily (Kazan) af­ter one of his stand-up sets. How­ever, what they thought would be just a one-night stand blos­soms into the real thing, which com­pli­cates the life that is ex­pected of Kumail by his tra­di­tional Mus­lim par­ents. When Emily is be­set with a mys­tery ill­ness, it forces Kumail to nav­i­gate the med­i­cal cri­sis with her par­ents.

NA­TIONAL THE­ATRE LIVE: OB­SES­SION

The Arts Cen­tre Jude Law stars in the stage pro­duc­tion of Ob­ses­sion, cap­tured live from the Bar­bican The­atre in Lon­don. Ivo van Hove di­rects this new stage adap­ta­tion of Luchino Vis­conti’s 1943 film. Gino is a mag­net­i­cally hand­some drifter. He en­coun­ters hus­band and wife, Giuseppe and Gio­vanna. Gino and Gio­vanna be­gin a fiery af­fair and plot to mur­der her hus­band. But, in this chilling tale of pas­sion and de­struc­tion, the crime only serves to tear them apart.
