There were two big openings last week. Spotlight Theatre’s eagerly awaited comedy Take a Chance On Me, written by Roger Hall and directed by Helen Maden, debuted on Friday night. A packed audience enjoyed the show about modern relationships, with standout performances from an experienced cast. The season runs until October 1 (Thursday to Saturday at 7.30pm, with a Sunday matinee at 2pm on September 24).
