Aussie star Paul Mer­cu­rio will at­tend Ip­swich Mu­si­cal The­atre Com­pany’s au­di­tions for a new pro­duc­tion of the clas­sic Strictly Ball­room

Paul Mer­cu­rio, who shot to fame play­ing Scott Hast­ings in Baz Luhrmann’s film Strictly Ball­room, will be in Ip­swich April 13 to 15 for Ip­swich Mu­si­cal The­atre Com­pany’s au­di­tions for Strictly Ball­room at the Metro In­ter­na­tional Ip­swich Ho­tel. Fol­low­ing on from sold-out per­for­mances of The Phan­tom of the Opera (2014), Mary Pop­pins (2015), Wicked (2016) and Les Mis­er­ables (2017), Ip­swich Mu­si­cal The­atre Com­pany’s pro­duc­tion of Strictly Ball­room will be staged at Ip­swich Civic Cen­tre from Septem­ber 13 to 24. This is an ex­cit­ing op­por­tu­nity to au­di­tion in front of Paul Mer­cu­rio and be part of a lav­ish pro­duc­tion. The au­di­tion pack is on the com­pany’s web­site. There will be a Spot­light The­atre Charity Night for Head­way ABI Gold Coast Inc for Heathers the Mu­si­cal on May 24 at 7.30pm. Heathers is M-rated and not suit­able for the kid­dies.
