Coomera store robbed

A SWORD-wielding man robbed an Upper Coomera supermarket yesterday.

The male armed robber entered the store on Rose Valley Drive just after 4pm demanding cash from the cashier and fled the scene soon after in a white Commodore driven by an accomplice. He escaped with the sum of cash and remains at large.

The 24-year-old male cashier was not injured and was helping police with their investigations yesterday.
