CLAIM SPIES IN PLOT TO UNDERMINE CORBYN

-

MI5 is plotting with the Establishment to bring down Jeremy Corbyn, one of the Labour Leader’s senior aides has claimed.

In messages posted on Facebook, political adviser Tommy Kane cited the film A Very British Coup, in which a Left-wing Labour leader is undermined by security services.

“Does anyone seriously think that those same interests are not at work here in the real-life version,” Mr Kane said. But a Labour source said: “The idea that MI5 needs to spend time undermining Corbyn when he is doing such a good job of it by himself is frankly laughable.”

Mr Kane also used the Facebook messages to attack Labour’s deputy leader Tom Watson for his criticism of the “entryism” of socialists who joined the party in order to elect Mr Corbyn.
