Double the fun in NRL

WHAT I RATE THE NRL double-header is a great concept that certainly puts the rugby league focus on the Sunshine State.

And while the Titans don’t play at home, the fact that they can be part of the double-header is terrific for the Gold Coast club.

It doesn’t hurt the fact that the Titans were able to effectively steal the show on Saturday night with their last-gasp win over the Storm at Suncorp Stadium.

The excitement the back-to-back games at Suncorp Stadium creates for rugby league fans is genuine, with plenty of Gold Coast supporters happy to make the trek up the M1.

Here’s hoping the Titans can continue to take benefits out of being involved in a contest that clearly has the support of the rugby league public.
