Sydney FC set to spend

SOCCER SYDNEY FC chairman Scott Barlow is willing to stump up the cash for a big-name guest marquee player next A-League season – if coach Graham Arnold finds one who fits the bill.

As the Sky Blues unveiled a brand new logo in their push to swell average attendances north of 20,000 and memberships higher than 15,000, Barlow predicted the club “will go to another level” in terms of support.

Alessandro Del Piero was the last man to turn such bold statements into reality between 2012 and 2014.
