Fake money uncovered

A MAN has been charged after police raided a Broabeach apartment and allegedly found counterfeit money.

Detectives allegedly found items used in the production of the fake money including electronic printers, scanners and drug related items. A 25-yearold Broadbeach man was charged with making counterfeit money, possessing counterfeit money, uttering counterfeit money and fraud.

A 23-year-old woman was charged on unrelated matters.
