Cop battle with blood brothers

-

POLICE will take part in the Red25 Emergency Services Blood Challenge, which involves officers trying to donate more blood than firies and paramedics.

The Red Cross Blood Service holds the challenge each year, with members, family and friends of serving officers able to donate blood until August 31. Last year, QPS saved more than 1500 lives with 517 donations, surpassing the original target of 500. This year the service will aim for 600 donations. To donate blood, call 13 14 95.
