Ricciardo car just too slow

AUSTRALIA’S Daniel Ricciardo had a tough at the office with a third placing at the Canadian Grand Prix.

“Today I only had fun when I saw the chequered flag,” Ricciardo said.

“It was tough. I was defending the whole race and we weren’t that quick.”

It was the third straight placing for Ricciardo, who finished behind Mercedes pair Lewis Hamilton and Valterri Bottas.

The result leaves Ricciardo in fifth spot in the standings on 67 points, trailing leader Sebastien Vettel (141).
