PANTOMIME HOOKS YOUNG TALENT
GOLD Coast performers Sebastian Witt and Charlie Dunn are certainly comfortable in their latest roles.
The fellow Conroy Dance Centre students get to wear pyjamas on the job in Bonnie Lythgoe’s world premiere of The Adventures of Peter Pan and Tinker Bell in Pantoland.
Witt, 11, and Dunn, 8, join stage great Todd McKenney as Captain Hook, Tim Maddren (Peter Pan), Jaime Hadwen (Tinker Bell), Katrina Retallick (Mrs Darling) and Robyn Loau (Tiger Lilly) for the show, which plays The Arts Centre Gold Coast from tonight until July 1.
“It’s the first time I’ve worn a nightie,” said Witt, who plays John Darling, alongside Dunn as his younger brother Michael.
The duo are no strangers to the stage. Dunn has appeared in Queensland Ballet seasons of The Nutcracker and A Midsummer Night’s Dream while Witt’s credits include Strictly Ballroom the Musical and an international tour of Les Miserables.
