With winter upon us, a charitable group of ball attendees have been all fired up for a good cause

THE FIRE AND WINTER ICE BALL The Links, Hope Island

IT WAS an aptly named ball at The Links Hope Island on Saturday night. The Fire and Winter Ice Ball is an annual charity fundraiser staged by the club for members and the community. The recipient of the money is One Girl, which works to provide an education for girls in Africa. About 160 guests attended with organisers already planning for next year where the charity of choice will be local homeless help organisation, Orange Sky Laundry.
