Factory in super sale

-

BRISBANE investors have purchased a Biggera Waters factory through their superannuation fund for $680,000.

The 384sq m unit, at 25/239 Brisbane Rd, was sold by Norman Jenkin Properties to Super Invest Pty Ltd, linked to Andrew Forward and Giovanna Faraone.

It is home to Gold Coast aerial circus school Aerial Artistry, which has a lease due to expire next month.

Marketing agent Larry Dean, of Professionals Southport, said Mr Forward bought the factory for his business, Pro One Softfall.

Mr Dean said the factory was one of a number at 239 Brisbane Rd destroyed by fire earlier this decade and later rebuilt.

He said the sale, at $1770/sq m, reflected strong demand for industrial space in the area.

“It is tough to find space and properties tend to sell quickly when they hit the market,” he said.

The factory has three roller doors and a 9m-high clearance inside.
