Roar’s offer for Oxborrow

BRISBANE Roar are set to offer former Perth Glory and Newcastle Jets midfielder Mitch Oxborrow an injury replacement deal.

The contract is expected to run until January, when defender Daniel Bowles returns from his long-term knee injury.

Oxborrow, 22, a former Australian under-20, is playing for Broadmeadow in the Northern NSW league.

Meanwhile, teen midfielder Riley McGree is moving from Adelaide United to Belgium’s Club Brugge.
