Boston next for Baynes

AUSTRALIAN centre Aron Baynes’ move to NBA heavyweights Boston has been confirmed.

The 30-year-old has been unveiled by last season’s Eastern Conference finalists, after two years in Detroit.

Baynes walked away from the $8.6 million player option he had with the Pistons, becoming an unrestricted free agent and testing the market.

The Rio Olympian, who won the NBA title in 2014, averaged five points and more than four rebounds from 15.5 minutes a game in 2016-17.
