Cejudo heads to Wanderers

WESTERN Sydney have signed veteran Spanish attacker Alvaro Cejudo as the club’s second marquee ALeague recruit.

The 33-year-old winger is a former teammate of the Wanderers’ other marquee man, striker Oriel Riera, with the two having spent a season together at Osasuna in 2013-14.

Cejudo played 17 times in La Liga for Real Betis last season, and is Western Sydney’s fifth and final foreign player. He has spent his entire career in Spain’s top two divisions.
