Shed’s tribute to slain officer

GOLD Coast police were last week invited to the Men’s Shed Labrador for a barbecue and accept donations for Senior Constable Brett Forte.

Snr Constable Forte was tragically killed in the line of duty in May.

The group, which is dedicated to improve men’s health and wellbeing, raised $490.

Superintendent Craig Hanlon accepted the donation on behalf of QPS and thanked Men’s Shed secretary Len Thomson for their outstanding efforts.
