No danger in Pat tackle
PATRICK Dangerfield defended the tackle that concussed Carlton ruckman Matthew Kreuzer.
The Geelong superstar’s decision to pin Kreuzer’s arms during the move on Saturday night is the single threat to his Brownlow Medal chances.
Brownlow medallist Adam Cooney and former Kangaroos Nick Dal Santo have tipped him to be banned for a week.
The Cats star has never been suspended in 196 games.
“I actually thought he still had the ball, so that’s why I’ve turned around and put my hands in the air (to appeal for a free kick),’’ Dangerfield said.
