Crane falls on to units

TWO people were taken to hospital after a crane collapsed on to an apartment block in Sydney’s south yesterday.

Emergency services were called to Brodie Spark Drive at Wolli Creek just after 9.30am, following reports a crane had fallen off one building and crashed into another.

A resident, Felicia Nguyen, told Fairfax media the crane fell on to a penthouse apartment, crushing a balcony.

Police said no one was inside the crane at the time.
