Villa World going big in Logan

GOLD Coast developer Villa World is set to launch its largest Queensland development in Logan in the next few weeks.

The 1502-lot Covella project at Greenbank is a joint venture with Sydney’s Greenfields Development company, headed by the wealthy Perich family.

Villa World announced the acquisition of a 153ha site last year after buying the land for $55 million.

Chief executive Craig Treasure said Logan is an affordable and sought-after location in southeast Queensland.

“The scale of growth experienced throughout the southeast region has positioned Logan as a strategic market supported by employment hubs in Brisbane to the north and Ipswich to the west,” he said.

On completion, the estate will be home to 4000 residents.
