Unit draws keen bids

A GOLD Coast investor has offloaded a unit in the Molendinar industrial area for $233,000 plus GST.

The 9/14 Activity Cres property was sold by Rachel Wyndham, who acquired it off Lawrence Reece Constructions Pty Ltd for $214,500 in 2010.

The 84sq m warehouse has additional mezzanine/office space and comes with threephase power, high internal clearance and amenities.

Marketing agent Steve Macgregor, of Ray White Industrial Gold Coast, said an auction last week at Gold Coast Turf Club attracted competitive bidding for the property.

He said the property sold over reserve for $2770sq m, which he said reflected strong demand in the area.
