Lemanis likes Bullets’ finish

BULLETS coach Andrej Lemanis reckons the fast-finishing win over Cairns in Rockhampton has given Brisbane a promising platform to launch into this week’s NBL Blitz preseason tournament.

The Bullets trailed the Taipans by 19 points early in the second quarter on Saturday but refused to throw in the towel and went on a sizzling 25-13 run in the last term to claim a 84-76 victory to open their pre-season.

“We didn’t get frustrated when things were going against us,’’ Lemanis said.
