THE Marvel Cinematic Universe contains a large array of superheroes with their own hardships, storylines and relationships.

And, within Marvel Movies,

we see a group of heroes coexisting within the same universe, destined to come together and fight the big baddies we all know and love.

In a similar way, The Marvel Cinematic Universe exhibition at the Queensland Art Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA) linked together the many gorgeous worlds of the MCU, from Iron Man to Guardians of the Galaxy.

There was even a section for the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok,

filmed here on the Gold Coast.

The exhibition displayed many fantastic set pieces, such as the throne room from the first Thor movie, as well as the props and costumes used throughout the movies. They include the Captain America costumes, weapons and vehicles, that can be found in a similar set-up to the museum dedicated to the title hero in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

There were also many pieces of concept art and key art, used to aid filmmakers in how a scene should look and feel, videos of how things had been made, from sets to costumes, to parts of the special effects, and interactive pieces.

The exhibition has been colourful and fun.

It was filled with an amazing amount of hard work that is not only interesting to see but also shows just how much work goes on, both behind the scenes and in the forefront, to make these pieces of cinematic art truly come to life.
