It’s all good for boxing big boy

QUEENSLAND super heavyweight Joe Goodall will start favourite for a 2018 Commonwealth Games gold medal after securing the country’s first world titles medal in 26 years.

A silver medal winner in Glasgow nearly four years ago, Brisbane-based Goodall will arrive home from the AIBA world amateur boxing championships in Hamburg this week with a bronze to add to his collection.

It is just the fourth medal, all bronze, Australia have won at the championships since they began in 1974.
