LIFE’S A BEACH FOR ANGLERS AFTER TAILOR

IT’S been a pretty good week for beach fisherman with reports of tailor off the Burleigh headland as well as the gutters around Palm Beach. Charter boats out of Tweed Heads have given me good reports of tusk fish and squire biting in the morning off Nine Mile Reef. Out wider on the 50 fathom grounds it is worth trying for Kingfish, jigging has been the most successful method but if you have live bait give that a crack too.
