IT has been a pretty good start to the bass season, the hottest bite seems to have been at night but still some decent catches in the early morning on soft plastics. Hinze Dam has been working well, but most creeks and rivers between the Gold Coast and Brisbane have bass, so use Google Earth and discover new places to try your luck.
