Shock over shopworks

The Gold Coast Bulletin - - BUSINESS -

THE party amalgamating the St Tropez shops, offices and units in Surfers Paradise has given any reluctant sellers some hip-pocket food for thought.

The owners of the 88 titles, including veteran fashion designer Carla Zampatti, have been told St Tropez has significant costly concrete cancer that could mean higher body corporate fees. The would-be buyer, apparently Chinese, intends to keep St Tropez running, and earning income, for at least two years before redeveloping the 4434sq m site.
