Big marathon reveal
THE Gold Coast 2018 CommonwealÂth Games Marathon course will be revealed today.
Australian athletes Kurt Fearnley, Michael Shelley and Jess Trengove, GOLDOC chairman Peter Beattie and GOLDOC CEO Mark Peters will unveil the 42.195km route.
It will be one of four free events on the GC2018 program and will provide a fitting community finale to the Games.
Gold Coast-based Shelley will be out to defend his Glasgow 2014 Games gold, while Trengove will want to change her Glasgow bronze into gold.
