Apology
THE Gold Coast Bulletin last Saturday published a photograph purporting to be of landscaper Kevin Palmer, who died after being shot at a Nerang unit in 2007.
Due to an error in the production process the photograph used was not of Mr Palmer, but of Jade Lacey, who was convicted of unlawful wounding in connection with the incident.
Jade’s brother Dionne was convicted of manslaughter and jailed for 10 years, extended to 11 years on appeal.
The Gold Coast Bulletin apologises for the distress caused by our error. We also wish to extend our sympathy to Mr Palmer’s family and friends as they continue to grieve his loss.
