SECURITY MEASURES

THE Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games will be the largest security operation this country has seen in more than a decade.

GOLDOC has developed a security model designed to ensure all Games stakeholders stay safe while getting to see the best athletes in the Commonwealth.

The model will provide security in and around venues and complement the work of Queensland Police, the Australian Federal Police and the Australian Defence Force. All security guards, who complete the accreditation process, will be provided with comprehensive training.
