Councillors’ Games date

The Gold Coast Bulletin - - NEWS -

GOLD Coast City councillors will be told in February next year at which Commonwealth Games events they must represent the city.

Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate and Gold Coast City Council CEO Dale Dickson have spent the past few months reviewing how more than 800 tickets will be allocated to dignitaries and guests during the event.

About half of the tickets were given back to Goldoc after the council was accused of taking advantage of their ticket allocation. No free tickets are being given to councillors unless they are conducting city business.
