Mother and son miracle
A MOTHER and her nineyear-old son have been found alive after surviving 10 days in remote bushland in NSW’s Hunter Valley region.
The pair went missing while bushwalking in the Mount Royal National Park north of Singleton 10 days ago.
But a search was launched only after the woman’s car was discovered four days ago.
NSW Ambulance said the mother and son were located about 1pm yesterday following an extensive four-day search by emergency services.
