No palace for Trump

-

A PLAN for President Donald Trump to stay with the Queen at Buckingham Palace is unlikely to go ahead.

The US President had been offered the honour of a full state visit. Such a visit would traditionally include staying with the Queen at the Palace.

However, a furore broke out in Britain over the offer, one usually reserved for a president in the second term of office.

The trip has been repeatedly delayed because Mr Trump fears the opposition he could face from Brits who dislike him, and he is now set to tour in early 2018, reports say.
