WHAT SHE WORE: Violet stands out in any crowd and no more so than at the races on Saturday. She wore a tangerine Thurley dress with Country Road hat, Gucci handbag and shoes from Senso.

STYLE ICONS: “My two style icons are both bloggers. Margaret Zhang is the champion of layering and also incorporates a boyish style into her look. The other is Negin Mirsalehi who has a retro ’70s look and focuses more on the feminine. My designers of choice are Thurley, mainly because the pieces aren’t trend driven and have a lot of texture and detail. The other is local designer Isabelle Quinn. Very easy to style and with a ’90s nostalgia to her work. My boyfriend, Cameron McEvoy, is a bit of a sneaker head so he has moved me into more street wear. I also love heavily detailed pieces and great blazers.”
