THE company rolling out the national broadband network has vowed to improve customer service after a spate of complaints from businesses over slow connection times to the service.

NBN Co has announced a range of new customer service initiative­s to ensure businesses have a better experience connecting to the network.

Wait times are set to be reduced and communicat­ion with businesses slated to connect to the NBN improved so entreprene­urs have a better understand­ing of what they are getting into before they go ahead.

The changes come after a flurry of complaints from business owners who claim they have been losing money and productivi­ty while waiting for their newly installed NBN to come online.
