Apology after video mix-up

TOURISM and Commonwealth Games Minister Kate Jones has been forced to apologise to hundreds of guests after her election campaign ad was mistakenly played at a supposedly apolitical Gold Coast business breakfast.

Ms Jones was guest speaker at The Southport School Foundation breakfast at Royal Pines Resort yesterday.

Her re-election campaign commercial was played to the audience, instead of a Commonwealth Games plug.

“I apologise, I’m mortified by that,” Ms Jones said.
