BOLT THE KING OF SPEED AND STYLE

-

USAIN Bolt returned to the Birdcage yesterday for another hit of racing action.

The world’s fastest man, now retired, ventured into the Mumm marquee at Flemington on Oaks Day with friends including former Australian athlete John Steffensen.

“He’s bored when I’m not here,’’ the Jamaican said with a smile, referring to Steffensen.

“We were at Crown and then came here. It’s nice, it’s different to the normal stuff I go to. If I was training I wouldn’t be here right now.”

Bolt, wearing a styling Gucci suit, a gold watch and gold shoes, said he would spend two more weeks in Melbourne where he has business interests.

“I want to start a restaurant down here,’’ he said.

Bolt is expected on the Gold Coast in April in an ambassadorial role for the Commonwealth Games.
