LNP cleared of donations

THE LNP says they have complied with all requirements of the Electoral Commission of Queensland regarding $100,000 in outstanding donations.

Opposition leader Tim Nicholls yesterday revealed the party had released to the ECQ the details of who donated the money.

The money was made up of a number of small donations which made it difficult for the LNP to determine where it came from, he said.

“The LNP has complied with all the requirements of the Electoral Commission of Queensland,” said Mr Nicholls, who was aware of who donated the money.
