Trail bike tragedy

A MAN died after hitting a tree in a high-speed trail bike accident in bushland at Coomera on Sunday night

The accident occurred just before 6pm in bushland off South Cunningham Drive North.

Several paramedic crews and police rushed to the scene, where they performed CPR.

However, the rider could not be saved.

The forensic crash unit attended and is investigating the crash.

No further information has been released about the man.
