GOLDOC has been pleased with the response from the community since the launch of Gold Run last week, with entries from every state and territory in Australia.

Gold Run gives participants the opportunity to take part in a 5km community fun run on the same roads at the same time as the marathon athletes on the final day of sporting competition at GC2018.

While the majority of entries so far have come from Queensland, there has been a diverse mix of entrants from interstate and even overseas.

Entries are still open via gc2018.com/goldrun but anyone that hasn’t taken advantage of this opportunity is urged to hurry as entries are capped at 6,600.
