Snake bite for hiker
A MAN has been rushed to hospital after he was bitten by a snake during a bushwalk in the Gold Coast Hinterland.
The Rescue 500 helicopter was tasked to the patient at Purling Brook Falls around 4.30pm.
On arrival they found a male with a bite from an unidentified snake.
A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said three crews responded and the patient was in a stable condition.
