Diver fights for survival

A YOUNG spearfisherman is fighting for his life after being pulled unconscious from the water in north Queensland yesterday.

It is believed the 25-yearold Mission Beach man was on a diving trip when he was found in the water near Hinchinbrook Island. Passengers triggered emergency beacons and carried out CPR until emergency services arrived.
