Luck locks in Tour priority

FORMER world No.1 amateur golfer Curtis Luck has sealed priority status on the Web.com Tour in the US to take a step closer to a permanent home on the lucrative PGA Tour.

The Australian carded a final round five-under par 67 to finish 22 under and tied for third in the final stage of qualifying in Arizona.

The 21-year-old was six shots behind American Lee McCoy. Luck’s performance resulted in an exemption into the first 12 events of the Web.com Tour next season.
