Prather blow to Melbourne

MELBOURNE United have started a frantic search to replace their topscoring NBL import Casey Prather, who could be sidelined for up to three months after dislocating his elbow.

Prather suffered the injury in their NBL clash last Saturday against the Illawarra Hawks, putting a dent in United’s title ambitions.

The American, who is seeking another opinion about whether to undergo surgery, is leading the team’s scoring with 18 points per game, while also adding 5.4 rebounds.
